Just wondering, how did they figure out if parts/motors where stolen? If its not the stock motor its stolen?

So, if you take an engine out of a car (legally) and put it in another car it's considerd stolen. How dumb are those cops? That'd make half the hondas around have "stolen" motors.

Good think I didn't take the Z out that night, cuz the car had no prove of insurance. They pretty much ran everyone's licenses, insurances and vin numbers. The entire process took almost 3 hours, but all in all the cops were really cool about it. One of them was walking around looking for his son...

i liked how the the VIN number that tied the engine to the car was in "a secret location" ha haha.

most of these cars were equipped with a nitrous oxide tank, that gives the racers an extra speed boost when they cross the finish line...it can even blow up the engine.
