New.... kinda. Just sayin' Hi.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
The Benz turned out better than I ever could have imagined when I bought it. I've always tried to keep it tasteful when working on it. Always try to live by something a friend of mine said, "Remember that when you mod it, it's a Mercedes."
And the Fiero does really really well on the track, or on an auto-x course. I've only run one auto-x with it, but I've been on Heartland park, Brainerd, and St. Cloud with it, and it whip it up on the FWD cars in the corners. I love the thing. Not to mention, many people don't know what they are, so it turns a lot of heads. Someday I'll start working on the body, make it look even better.
And right now I live in Shakopee, but thinking about moving back up there if I get the job at Valley Imports that I want.

Shakopee, thats close to me... I live in Minnetonka.Yea, and you bought the SLK from that pitiful place I used to work. If you had anyway of doing it, I'd go to Feldmans or Maplewood. Sears treats their employees like absolute shit. It's pretty sad when I can go up to Fargo, and make the EXACT same that I was making down here, and the cost of living is like half. That's just sad.

That's not an iron duke Fiero is it? I hope it's atleast the 2.8 or you've done a swap...I don't know what impresses me more, the fact that you know which engines the car came equipt with, or that you know the name of the 2.5. That's kinda funny. If you bring up and "iron duke" in conversation with someone they normally just look at you all stupid.
And what you don't like the duke???
That engine was put in everything, and yes, even though it leaked on the showroom floor, they run forever as long as you keep adding coolant and oil.

You're right, they don't make any power stock. Something like 90 horse or something. Which, from reading around, might still be able to beat Evslows car. :icon_cheers: Too soon?

And as far as 300hp goes, probably wasn't a duke. the Duke will pretty much self destruct around 160-170hp at the very most. It is nothing more than a commuter engine. Probably had a super duty if it was pulling 300 n/a on a 4 cly in a Fiero. And that.... is an impressive engine. Loud as hell, raw, runs like shit when it's idling, but man, get it going... that's another story.

What's up Eric? I stayed at your place with Pat and John a couple summers ago when we went to the 'Vu.I member people coming down, but I really only remember John and Pat. Which one were you? Were any of you "not" trying to hump my roommate that night?
