Nope, you really don't need a reason to can someone in MN. It is called employment at will. You are free to work for an employer and stop working for them at any time. Likewise, they are free to employ you and they are also free to let you go at any time.

why would I do something like that? i plan on going to the HR department and straight up telling them the situation. we'll see how it goes. I am doing this as soon as I see my check in my account via direct deposit.
