i played it solid for like a year then quit, it just took up too much time.

Too cartoony, I like my games w/ graphics designed for gamers.

A friend of mines roommate quit his job so he could play more. And is probly going to quit school cuz that is all he does anyways.

If these games weren't worth it, people would play Guild Wars instead of WoW, EQ2, EQ1, DAoC, SWG, Matrix Online, LOTR Online, etc.... I've played this game since closed beta... I agree it sucks you life away if you let it. Also about the pay to play part of it. Over the corse of 4 months of playing you spend as little as $80 to play this game. How many people go to Gamestop or Software Etc and spend $50+ on a game every month. I used to think that MMO's were a rip off till i did the math myself. Anyway thats my rant, and if anyone plays on the Archimonde server and are looking for a local guild let me know.

I'm so pissed I wasted $30 on it.
When you think about it - aside from the initial game purchase - if you spend one night a month at home playing WoW instead of being out at a bar or cruising around, you'll have saved money. That's actually the main deciding factor I used when I first bought the game. $15 a month is nothing compared to a night at the bar.
IMHO, The Burning Crusade killed WoW. I know quite a few people that just quit playing when they hit 70, me included. Unless you don't have a job, friends, or any other sort of contact with people at all, it's just pointless. We're all waiting for Warhammer to come out.
If anyone wants to buy an account with a fairly well geared 70 dwarf hunter plus alts on a PvE server, let me know.

WoW for one year = $156 and its the only game you are paying for...lolz for you saying you have to pay for playing online...but $50/year for playing a bunch of games or $156/year to play one single game...sounds like it'd get old...I'd rather spend the money on 2-3 other 360 games...
