Yes, thats it. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that driving your car hard is a bad thing. I drive mine hard. Just being stupid and driving like the guy with the yellow GTO does is bad.I agree you shouldn't drive like this guy apparently does.....im just giving you shit.

Why take it to redline? Most cars dont make power up there.I think you meant "most American cars with truck engines in them"

My old M5 sees redline multiple times everytime i drive it (unless its to move it). The italian tuneup is good for a well-made engine.
And never mind if you actually hit the track (not the "strip" -- a real track), you're seeing redline in 2, 3, and 4, on every lap, for 20-30 minute sessions. I've done this to both of my 20 year old, stock engine'd BMWs. No drama.

It depends on the motor and the setup. I would never wrap my 302 out to redline as it sits because it doesn't make power up there. I wouldn't take the 75 T/A that my dad and I are building up there either because the pontiacs just don't make their power up high.

I think CMK is still running the factory intake manifold on his car, which is like making that motor suck air through a tiny straw. Upgrade the valvetrain and get that thing breathing a little, and you'll go a little deeper than 5500 rpm.

Send me some cash to do it.
Were you the one planning on buying my brother's Cobra intake? Sounds like he's going to reuse it.
Someone on TCS is selling an Explorer intake for $250. That'd be a good start for ya.

Oh i ran in to this kid the last night and he isnt happy about all the shit talking going on about him! he wanted to know who wanted to run him off the road and what not. he was acting like a big man!

Ya, I heard travis and cody were talking to him last night at DQ. I guess he was getting pissed at cody and a buddy of his grabbed a torque wrench, I hope this dbag crashes his car into an overpass or something. I heard he spun some bearings and broke like 3 connecting rods or something, and he's trying to tell people that it's in there for an oil change.

it got picked up today so u should start seeing it again, hopefully he learned his lesson and will treat it better
