    How many feet until the river is at your house? They are predicting 33 feet....

      you should be putting up a dike instead of posting in a dumb thread.... Is the river going to get to 33 feet? yes. will it most likely go higher? due to more rainfall down south and the chance for more rain today/tonight, yes

          The rainfall in the south wasnt as bad as expected. It probably wont hit 33 feet.....

                                    No offense to anyone, but it's Fargo, it floods all the time, why do people keep buying houses near the river. Umm...of course it's gonna flood...but then again i'm from a place where we actually have hills and trees and never have to worry bout flooding and all this wind.

                                        We bought our house in 98 for less than 110,000. Most people who have seen my house can vouch for the fact that its worth well over 200. My dad takes building a dike as a challenge and uses it as a socializing event to meet people around our neighborhood. I'm not even kidding. i'll see if I can find some pics of our dike.
