All I can say is wow, this guy must have alot of time... I wonder if this paint will be alot harder than regular auto paint like PPG.

that turned out really good for what it is. i wonder how it would hold up to sun fading. and i dont think i could wet sand my entire car 5-8 times.

The key is that he still did the most important thing in any paint job. He prepped/wetsanded the surface between coats and seemed to have a well smoothed body prior. He definately spent alot of time making sure we wouldn't have to spend money. I agree that it does look good from the pics. I would still like to see it in person though. Pics can hide alot. As thrifty (cheap) as I can be...... There's just no way I would do what he did. Sometimes time is worth the extra money. At least to me.

Thats sweet i probibly could spend the time to do it if I could let the cars sit for a while. We have this new laquer stuff call the paint shop, its made by duplicolor and is supposed to be easier and almost as cheap as that.
