i had stock carpet in it, i dont have a back seat or carpet in my civic now.

How much horse power did the carpet give your car, and why did you take out your back seat it really didnt do anything good for the car.

I have the carpet out because it was stained brown in areas, and the back seat was going to get reapholstered.
