Tint ticket....

So the ND HP decided to pull me over yesterday on interstate for illegal tint and no front plate. I understand that it is illegal and I deserve the ticktets, but the tint said it was a moving violation. (only $40 total) I am a minnesota resident and was wondering if minnesota considers that a moving violation also. I really dont want my insurance rates to go up because of this....does anyone know for sure if tint is a moving violation in minnesota? I have checked the web and can't find an answer. If you dont know for sure, please dont respond....

Who was the issuing officer?
Did it happen to be J. Liebl?
I'm guessing it was, he also pulled me over for the same thing and gave me 2 tickets, tint and front lp.
I was kinda pissed cuz my tint is 50% but its actually 44% on the meter, he didn't seem to care.
The week before he pulled my gf over for the same thing and gave her both tickets also.

yeah, he was going to give me a ticket for exhuast too, but said he'd give me a warning..
I wish there was a law stating hp could only pull people over on the highways or interstates, cuz he pulled me over in town.
Thats all he ever worries about is tint and license plates, and only pulls over imports or cars with big wings

I don't think that tickets in ND get reported unless they are enough points, cuz i have gotten a 1 pt speeding ticket in ND and it didn't go on my MN license at all.

its not a moving violation in MN. ive had over 12 tint tickets in minnesota that i can think of off my head and none made my insurance higher

Thats gay I mean 44% wtf. My z and supra have 18% I dont get jerked around. I would fight the tint ticket. I have a meter I could check it. Meters are off by like 1 or 2 percent. That sucks I mean I see people with 5% all the time that get away with it. I think that HP hates moders.

i believe that the law only states that you have to have your liscense plate displayed in a forward facing manner on your vechile, where it is visible, which makes jamming it in your windshield very legal.
