ya ive been there... my 99 mercury cougar was a "prior salvage" and that base average asking price for my condition was 5k but i could only sel it for 3k and it was hard enough to get that.....a slvage title plays a BIG part in the price of the car...so you cant be asking that much for it because did you do all the work to restore it yourself? or kno who did? because there could be shit still not right in it if not. you never kno. could have been just a cosmetic or cheap ass fix...."salvage title" usually averages out to about half what the car is worth....excluding mods

Wow! Torbs is a mechanic? I need some work done...

I heard that he only works on all motor d-series. He doesn't screw around with any of that other garbage.

Once it is labeled as a "salvage" title in one way or another, it **IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE **a slavage title no matter how it is worded making it worth **alot less **than an equal car without prior damage. It doesn't mean shit valuewise whether its been fixed or not. It's like a criminal history for your car plain and simple. This is not true, There is ways to get rid of a salvage title. Transferring it and registering it in many different states is one way... I know there's a lot of shady car dealers that do it.

I know... My point was though, is that you said there is NO WAY to get rid of one. there is. but either way, torberts car is salvagedAnd what I'm trying to say is, no matter how you try to get around it..... It will come to light sooner or later. You can never fully hide it. And yes we can agree that Torbs' car is a salvage car.
