DSM Tuners is FULL of people that have broken into the 14s bone stock. It all depends on a million different variables.

^ok I'll drop it. you like 1gs more than 2gs and that's fine. When my motor goes, I'll throw in a 6bolt, but until then there's no point.
btw, search tuners for all the 2gs that broke into 14s stock too. imo I could care less what a car runs stock. But I understand I'm still a "n00b" so no matter what I say it doesn't really matter.
But with all do respect, the whole "no 2g can brake 10s" comment is bull.

John w.. heres how you go fast on a budget:
1.Make sure your engine is good 145psi or better
2.Make sure your tranny can shift fast.
3. ACT 2600
4.Ported 2g manifold w/ pte 50 trim
5. 550cc or bigger, S-afc, 255hp
6.MBC set to 25psi w/ 110 octane
7.fmic, no boost leaks
8.NO exhaust ...
9.4 bolt rear end or 3 bolt with many extra axles... Good luck finding them I think I broke them all...- let me drive
pretty much with that set up I ran 11.2@125 with stock engine..

Don't know if they would help too much, but you could try investing in some iridium plugs (Denso, NGK) for better spark. They're supposed to be particularly beneficial for forced induction applications.NGK-BPR7es gap down to .025-.028

are you dumping the clutch at 4k or slipping it? my 1 tip: no lift shift into 3rd and 4th..I would rev the bitch to 6000-6500 w/ act 2600 and no lift to shift on a 1g dsm hahahhah... Good luck

- It's at over 150 all cylinders
- Thats a problem, where did you say I could get my tranny rebuilt in town again?
- Yeah, I'm not doing any more runs on that stock clutch, it smells like pickles.
- I did clean up the 1g manifold, didn't port match it or anything, 2g is better tho huh?
- going 550s w/ dsmlink and 3000gt fuel pump
- want to see what I can get out of the 14b

- plan on getting a cheap ebay setup w/ pipes from jcwhitney like you suggested
- haha
- got a 4 bolt rear
- arent you sick of driving dsms?

- A-Transmission City Talk to Ben tell him SLS sent you
4.2g manifolds are have bigger ports - if your going to dsmlink you should get bigger injectors as the almost cost the same..
- 14b is proven
- i am sick of breaking trannys, axles thats why we got an auto in jeremys car...

God dammit bring that bad bitch back up here and let me drive it!I'm pretty sure a stock 1g runs faster than a 15.3.
I'm workin' on it! Almost done, maybe I'll take a road trip up there soon. Who did you say owned it before I did, someone at a shop up there right?
*Oh yeah and Original Poster dude, I have a 2g exhaust manifold for sale. Let me know if you're interested.
