Muscle cars VS. Imports
-
Its all personal preference. I like imports and I like domestics. I was raised in a muscle car family so I tend to lean that way in car choices, and only really buy imports for the fuel economy.
You cannot compare a import to a muscle car in my opinion, they are 2 very different breeds of cars. Thats like trying to compare a ferrari to a geo metro. Its all personal preference.
Now if only I could have my dream car a 69 Charger RT and the fuel economy of a honda.

One of the reasons I tend to lean towards older cars is I know how to work on them, no computer equipment needed, less electrical stuff to fail and parts tend to be much cheaper. Plus in a accident what would you rather drive, and muscle car built like a tank or a compact car made of tin foil?
Honestly this can go on and on forever, but who cares. Plus not many people own a muscle car on here, I consider a muscle car a domestic sports car that is 1980 or older. How many people own a car that fits in that category on this forum other than me?

the old cliche of muscle cars being gas guzzling, un-refined cars is quickly passing.

Biggest derailment of a thread EVER! I love it!
