DUI
-
I was not a danger to anyone, I was nowhere near intoxicated enough to cause any problems. If you want to parallel this experience to someone dying or killing someone else because of drunk driving. Thats like saying that someone who commits manslaughter is the same as someone who commits murder one. The law doesn't leave any gray area, as well it shouldn't, but I damn sure wasn't any more likely to kill myself, or anyone else that night, than I would be any other time I get behind the wheel. If that was the case I would have never driven. So take your holier than thou attitude and shove it up your ass.

That sort of set me off because I can't stand the fact that so many people are so nonchalant about it. Obviously more people think they can drive drunk than really can, and there's definitely a problem with peoples attitudes about it.
I can't (and didn't) say wether or not you were posing a risk to anyone on the evening you were pulled over.
That said, I thought it was... interesting... that from the get go you planned on continuing to ignore the law and will be driving with a suspended license... hoping not to get caught.
You know what kind of people get a DUI and drive on an suspended license? Paris Hilton. Is that the kind of brain surgeon you want to emulate? You really can't manage yourself and your run-ins with the law any better than she can?

"blah blah blah i wasn't THAT drunk blah blah blah i squawked my tires." Grow up, and don't bitch about your fines. Its pretty safe to say that about 99% of the people on fargostreet could care less that you got caught, and if anything were glad.

Why the hell would you squeel your tires after you've been drinking? That is probably the stupidest thing you can do.
So you got a dui and now your talking about driving under suspension on a public forum.
I admit I got a dui 3 yrs. ago and I accepted my punishment, pad my fines, and didn't drive when I wasn't supposed to. Do not get caught driving because it will only make things worse, find yourself alternate transportation for 1 month and then you can get a work permit. -
I broke the tires loose the same way I would if I was sober, I'm dumb like that.:D As far as the driving under suspension goes If I can't come up with something it isn't going to matter I'm going to have to. I'm can't lose my job now since I'll never get hired on in anything automotive for a while. I could always fufill my dream of being a janitor.

You don't get to choose what test they give you. The cop gets to decide. And I think that introducing alcohol into the blood to test it is completely bogus. Lawyers lie all the time. That is what they do. I think he was feeding you a line of crap so that you would pay him to defend you, even though he knew you would probably lose.
