More torque equals more fun on the street. Werdum no.....
A better power to weight is fun on the streets
my stock 5.9 cummins has double the torque of your 302 and it isnt as fun as my car,
I helped pop the cherry on heaths car by the way

ha i ment a stock cummins... i would of said 4Xs the To if i was talking about mine once the 200 sticks are in.... i put the 4k gov springs in yesterday and the $1400 converter goes in this weekend..... then your dad gets to touch my plungers and barrels

a 12 valve that fuels fully till 4k instead of 2.1k is interesting...
Its just easier to get a good power:weight with a 7.... or even more so like parker

Ok ok maybe I should clarify my statement a little two identical cars one makes 500 hp at 7000 rpm the other 500 ft/lbs at 2500 rpm which is going to be more fun to drive on the street? I would never trade low end torque for high end power ever, its too much fun to stand on the throttle and lay black mark(s) for a block, without dumping it into gear. I can't argue that my car sounds better tho i love the sound of a piped rotory, like a indy car but with some growl.

Lots of ppl they are all over you tube most with LS1's but they're are a couple of FC's with ford 302s in em.
