LOLZ at parker! how much did it take?
-
just looked...have about ten dents in my sti..
time to call up progressive..
-
I saw Nick's pictures on TCS just now. Looks pretty crazy, figured I'd pop over here to see how widespread it was.
Don't forget to check roof damage on the house!
-
my mom said we got baseball size hail at my house down by shanley. luckily we didnt get any damage, at least from what she was able to see.
-
I just went and looked and I couldn't tell because my car still had beaded water(guess a good wax job helps?) and everyone else had dry cars, but I looked and most of the cars had a few small dents but nothing too bad, most just had 3-5 dents on the hood and trunk areas.
-
damn just found a nice quarter sized dent on the roof of my car
plus about 10 dents on my hood.
-
I woke up at 3 am and thought nothing of it, I just sat up, closed my window because it was getting everything wet.
-
Well now that the car is dry it's a lot worse than I was originally seeing...damnit...
-
$1700 in damage on my STI.

State Farm is having a drive thru type setup next week so I don't even get to know the cost on mine til then. If it's in the $1000 range though they'll probably just total my car...

not as bad as i thought.... we figure about %10 of the beans... might be worse though...can you imagine getting hit with one of those falling from the sky?... ouch
Then you got lucky. I'm still harvesting soybeans with a 235 John Deer Disc...
I had an ex girlfriend that got caught in a hail storm with her folks coming home from a fishing trip. Sounded like it was baseball + sized hail and it totally destroyed their pickup. One of her parents ended up with a lot of glass shrapnel, some in the eye IIRC. My ex had a divit on her thigh that was about the size of a softball (1/2" deep) that hadn't healed like 2 years after it had happened.

Have them total it, but the car back and put money in pocket.

Thats what I was planning if it comes to that.
Book is ~$5000, salvage title brings that down to $2500-3000 MAX. Damage is on hood, roof, both fenders, both doors. I'll take crappy pictures when I get home. Damn $500 deductible!
