Fargo tickers cost more then anywhere else. LOL! have you scene ticket prices across the river?
I don't usually crooss the river unless I absolutely have to when I'm in Fargo. Just nothing over there I want or need.
I do remember one time I was with some friends and were out cruising and saw some dude getting a sobriety test, when we drove by later the cops were gone,he was gone, but the car was still there, sucks for him. The guy just bought it too, it still had the sticker in the back window -
until there are no harley davidsons left in fargo not a SINGLE automobile should get another exhaust ticket. It's simply ridiculous.
Exhaust tickets are simply an issue of cops wanting to mess with you. The one I got was when the cop "knew" i was speeding but didn't have any radar or other reading, and knew it wouldn't stand up if he wrote one for speeding.

just got a 100 buck ticket for my exhaust, state patrol gave me a warining a few weeks ago and west fargo gives me 100 buck...gay and i only have 3 days to pay it
So you think you should just keep getting warnings? If you got a warning a week ago, then why didn't you fix it then. You deserve the ticket if you ask me. -
what wlse are fargo cops worried about??? What about ride height?

The laws for motorcycles are different than the ones for automobiles.
BTW, crotch rockets are just as loud as the harleys.

It's apples to oranges loud. Crotch rockets have high pitched wails that go up to 10,000RPM whereas Harley's have a loud ass rumble/pulsing/pounding exhaust. Either way exhaust noise tickets are BS regardless of what's making them if you ask me.

Why would exhaust noise ordinances be different?A piped rocket at 12k rpm is no where near as loud as a piped Harley at 5k rpm. Not even close.

The main difference is that high pitched noises cary where a Harley is just all out loud...
Exhast laws have their place, but ND is far off kilter on how and when they should be giving tickets...
Put exhaust on your car with a nice shiny fart can? why to set your car apart from everyone else, right? well it's gettting you noticed... by everyone, including cops. I have never installed aftermarket exhaust on any car I ever own. I take the Cat off the probe when I go to the race track, and I have left it off since late september. I haven't got a ticket yet... and I guarentee its louder than your civic, eric. pretty sure it has very little to do with how it sounds, but your style of driving and the look of your car(which I know is profiling... get used to it). if you dont want exhaust tickets, don't put exhaust on your stock civic.

Most people put exhaust on their cars to get away from the "stock" title. If you do it because you like how it shines...you're a ricer. Granted yes, I do just have a can on right now. But not for long, a can still provides better flow than stock. It's not just to set yourself apart from others.
