Seeing as how noone has even bothered to answer your question, I will give it a shot. I've actually had good luck talking to the local machinist about what I wanted to have done. He will easily be able to get your parts. They can be a wealth of knowledge as well. Also, by having them get the parts you need.... he may also cut you a package deal on parts and machine work. It's also in your best interest to get in good with a machinist. That also may be the difference between getting the best work he can do and also making sure your shit doesn't get pushed aside for someone elses. And believe me, IT DOES HAPPEN!

I hope this helps out somewhat.

Its for my engines class at MSCTC. i need to build, rebuild a engine. so i thought it would be a good idea to to the engine outta my civic. 206,xxx miles, smokes a little, leaks a little more, and it will be parkd for winter anyway. i would like to do a boost build but i need to start it within 2 weeks, so that leaves me know time to save some $. so yea, any ideas on cheap/good parts i can get in 2 weks

ebay, get a full set of ACL rod, main, and thrust bearings for like 60-80 shipped. rings will come with some vitaras if he goes that route, they also sell a kit that come with pistons, head gasket, timing belt and some other crap too. get some TT rods, and a bottom end gasket kit for like 170 dollars from honda. these are just the prices off the top of my head, my prices are inaccurate cause i always get ill deals

hone and notch that bitch and your ready to go.

Yea, you can build a D-series for boost for around $500 if you search for a bit, easily $700-800. Look around, ACL bearings off ebay, vitara pistons, eagle or TT rods, misc seals and gaskets, you are looking at $700 and a set up for 400 whp.

k so im lookin at pistons. most are 75mm, wich is the stock bore? some are 75.5mm. or other overbore sizes, should i get 75mm or should i get oversize, or...do i have to wait untill i measure my cylinder to see if it needs to be bored.

Take apart the block and check out the cylinders to make sure they are ok and then get stock bore vitaras(75mm). Order them from FJT, he is a huge seller on all the forums like d-series, hmt, h-t. Then tuner toys or eagle rods, and then a gasket set from wherever you choose, ARP headstuds, and you are golden.
