just buy a manual boost controller from SLS for like $40 or what ever they sell for. Way easier to install. In cab boost controllers are not a good idea(CAN CAUSE YOU TO KEEP UPING BOOST)...... lol

      PM me for:
      Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
      Diesel repairs or performance products.

yes it is a good idea, if you want to go electronic then buy it. if not then a simple mbc will do you just fine.

The AVCR is awesome. I had one in 2 of my DSMs back in the day, and never had issues. It's easy to use once you get it set up properly. Make sure you read through the user's guide.

Go manual. Like Faber said, you'll just keep upping the boost...and it's usually all downhill from there.

              I wanna go fast!

There's nothing better than pushing a few buttons to switch between boost settings. Manual ones are a pain in the ass to get set properly and you never really know how much you're actually turning it up. AVCR isn't that hard to put in either, as long as you have a little knowledge on wiring and vaccum lines.

well being that hes putting this on a NA motor, and using a pussy T3 turbo the most boost he will be able to run is about 6-7psi, so its not like hes gonna be adjusting it all the time. BTW, if you have any intelligence, dont put ANY type of boost controler on it until you upgrade alot of other stuff. Stock boost with the T3 is 4.5 psi, leave it there or youll just blow it up. Thats a whopping 220hp BTW, and the T3 will max out around 300hp, at the crank, not the wheels.
On second note, your NA auto trans is gonna be shot in a couple weeks anyway, the turbo auto uses a different stall converter with a higher stall and no lockup, plus bigger clutch packs and valving. We had a hard time getting NA autos to hold on jasons car when it was NA, with cams and headers with 200hp, good luck

well its worth a try, it will hold for awhile anyway, just take it easy on the shifts. i wouldnt worry about it until it starts slipping. BTW, its a pretty low mile unit im guessing

His first mod needs to be an auto to manual swap and I also said in a post the non turbo trans does not Hold much more power than the non turbo makes :icon_brilsmurf:
