question for the DSMers
-
I know that in the past, mitsu has made some cars for dodge, like the stealth. But is there any equivelent to the galant. Either Eagle or dodge(plymouth too?). Or something that a DOHC 4g63 would drop into, or would already have it?
Edit: obviously besides talon, lazer. -

possible? yes
worthwhile? better than na
cost effective? nope
i believe there was a galant gsx available through most of the 90's with some engine other than the 4g63... but don't quote me on that.
if you look around on dsmtuners, there was some dude that put a 4g63 into a mitsubishi mighty max truck, and someone else that put a 4g63 into a jeep.
it's all about time and money -
And in a minivan, and in a colt... etc.. etc..
Whatever. Joel, the work would be unbelievabley expensive, unless you had the personal knowhow. Think of this, a AWD Conversion on a Spyder, costs in the range of $5000, and thats without much custom fabrication. Think of the cost of a completely custom car.
Yup. NO way.

The secretary at the insurance company was pretty hot, I wouldn't mind being fucked. The examiner guy told me " We just have to make sure the car is worth more than the amount, otherwise I do ont have a problem with this estimate at all" Larry's figured in used parts already!

There are probably a lot of cars you could put the 4G63 turbo engine into. In Austrailia there are a lot of Mitsubishi Cordias with the 4G63 put into it. They normal come with a 1.8L in them. I use to own a Turbo Cordia and that was always a dream of mine.
Hyundai used Mitsubishi engines for many years and they still used clone versions of them. If you want a four door car, find a four door Hyundai Excel or Sonota. They would be great canidates for a 4G63. All of these cars are going to need a fair amount of customizing, and none of them are going to financially sound investments, but they'd sure be cool.

Curt
