I find it funny that you think 11 td's in 12 games isnt imperssive. almost guaranteeing a TD haha. When Culpepper launches the ball in the air, every packer fan puts their head in their hands.."OH SHIT!!"
Actually the Vikes have a great chance at a superbowl this year. I wouldn't of said that 2 days ago, but now they do.
-
great chance? they hardly beat detroit (I know, GB lost to them early in the season, but I'm not predicting superbowls here), lost to Seattle, are lucky to be in the NFC or else they probably wouldn't have a chance at the playoffs, let alone winning their division. My prediction: San Diego and Atlanta for the Superbowl. San Diego winning.
-
yeah im not even goin to respond to that. Picking san diego over pittsburgh is obserd. Brees would have no clue what to do with Pitts 3-4 defense, along with New Englands.
-
I'm just going on gut feeling, no real strategy. BTW, you did respond to that. To be honest, if it came down to NE and MN, I'd cheer for MN just because I hate NE far worse than MN.

from espn.com...
The Minnesota Vikings also announced Wednesday three players had been selected for the ProBowl game.

Daunte Culpepper will be making his third appearance, and second straight, in his five seasons as a starter. He leads the NFC in toucdown passes (34), passing yards (4,133), completion percentage (69.9) and passer rating (110.1).

Matt Birk
(center, 4th selection) and Kevin Williams
(defensive tackle, 1st selection) were the other Vikings named to the team. Williams is in his second season in the league. -
Kevin Williams will be the next Marcus Stroud, Warren Sapp pre 2002 etc. Minnesota will end up sending 4, TO will opt out and Randy will take his place.
btw chuck, i was talkin about the part about barely beating detroit.
if we woulda lost, it woulda been moe williams's fault. detroit had no time otus and he shoulda just downed it at the 1 and made it a last second field goal. meh oh well. 48 more hours till the game of the year

congrats brett favre on not making the probowl
i believe DC is starting though.
-
favres made it to the pro bowl many many a time....cant be perfect all the time lol

-
well if if STi boy up there is gonna bring up no trip for favre to the pro bowl...i gotta bring up how hes been there many times and its not that big of a deal for him. Gotta defend myself somehow lol...oh and vikes will lose...MUAUAUAAH

-
A whole lot of vikings didn't make the pro bowl either. Including their "superstar" receiver. Sure, he might make it on a technicality, but he wasn't the first choice.
-
I guess when you miss 5 games, only 3 td's behind the league lead, he still got snubbed. oh well. i guess green bay needed 1 player to goto the pro bowl. congrats

Stop crying about the fact that Green bay will lose.T-Minus 2 hours, 12 minutes until the worst ass kicking Green Bays ever recieved.
-
I hope the vikes don't lose. If they do I bet Kirk is going to get a lottt of shit!
probably by Tjamz hehe but it is in Minneapolis so hopefully it all goes good... -
I already predicted SEVERAL TIMES that GB will lose at the dome. I hope the opposite is true, but I am a realist when it comes to FB.
I think the funny thing is how vikings fans feel the need to guarantee victories @ home against ANY team. Seems like they have to talk themselves into cheering for the Vikes or something.
The reason I like the packers is mostly because of the fans/players that they have on their team. They don't whine about not having a new stadium w/ a retractable roof, prime location, etc, etc. No, they go play (or watch the game) outside in the sun/stars/rain/snow/mud. The way football was meant to be played. Thinking back to HS football, the most fun games were the ones when it was freezing cold, and every play felt like your skin broke open or you lost a limb. Thats football.
Good luck to the Vikings fans (apparently they think they need it or something) and GO PACK!
