no don't buy starion... buy a $195 johnny race car 8 inchI wouldn't be using that core if you plan to be making decent power or running some decent boost. Some guy just did testing on the core and its colling was over @ anything above 12 psi. If i remember right i think he mentioned he was gaining 20 deg/psi above 12. Most their cores dont have any sort of internal cooling fins. They are radiator cores not FMIC's hence the price. They buy these radiator cores in 4'x4' sheets and cut them to size thats how they do it so cheap.

But which core did they test? The 5 and 6 inch intercooler ones that JRC makes are really little...

It looks to me like they have internal fins?
Either way, it's got to be way more efficent then the stock SMIC, and for either me or joel, the 8" JRC is pretty much a steal at $195?
I guess the only thing i'd ask is, what's the efficency like in terms of deg / psi of boost on comparable intercoolers?

There are nine cooling rows and eight fin rows on this intercooler.
The cooling rows on this intercooler are internally finned.
The end tanks have a brushed finish.
The threaded mounting points are steel. There are three inserts in the top and three inserts in the bottom. "
