sharepod works well in my experiences

Meh, never had a problem with itunes

best thing about sharepod, you can move music to & from your ipod to your computer w/ a simple drag & drop. No gay "synchronizing" your ipod to one, and only one computer.

The best thing about itunes is that I plug my ipod in and unplug it 2 minutes later and its up to date. w00t

Woot Woot to that........lol Haven't had problems. Also Make sure your itunes is up to date with the latest version.
