Thanks Chuck, Simplex wasn't really my thing though.

And being a gigolo on the weekends doesn't quite pay the bills...........yet.

prolly something you dont wanna do...but pracs is hiring a bunch of positions and as soon as you get trained in you basically get as many hours as you want. its prolly the best job i've had...no complaints really. you can work there part time too if you want...all they require is a minimum of 16 hours (two 8 hour shifts or one 16 hour shift...i normally do one 16 hour shift per week) on every paycheck (2 weeks)...lmk if you'd be interested bc i have a bunch of apps in my car already bc i know some ppl that are applying already hah.

like he said^^^...I like being a phleb...its fun stuff. All the ppl you work with are cool too.

If you don't wanna draw blood, they have a few other positions. You can be a lab technician (separate plasma from blood and extract it out into tubes, and other such tasks), day moniter which just watches over the patients in 6 hour shifts and you can work 12's if you want sometimes. Overnight monitors (now called Safety moniters) work from around 7pm-7am each day they are scheduled...you can either sleep a few hours during the night, or if you choose to stay awake all night, you get a bonus 4 hours in pay....in other words, if you work 3 days a week and stay awake all night each time, you'll get 48 hours of pay...and if you stay awake, all you do is go on your computer, watch movies, and just anything to keep ya up...

Just go there and apply for any position above that interests you most. They are almost always looking to hire new ppl it seems beings a lot of the time they are short on weekends.

Starting pay is a minimum of $9.05/hr and goes up from there. BTW, if pracs does good during the quarter, you can get a bonus (so up to four bonuses a year, pending pracs' success). However, how big your bonus is depends on how much you worked during the given quarter.
