Shit happens. I am sure everyone has a made a mistake driving by not paying attention or something to that effect. Thats why its called an accident. I have been there before to and it sucks. Sorry to here about your car though, hope everything works out for the best.

I just had someone hit me too. Last week On 45th. Going uphill.😠 $700 to replace my rear bumper, and now my exhaust rattles. Thank god she had insurance.

Yeah, you sure are. It is YOUR responsibility to merge with traffic, not theirs.

weather or not he has insurance on THAT CAR, if you have insurance and you buy a car, its automatically insured for a certain number of days.

OK Torbs, here's what you do...buy the MR2 back after they cut you a check. Part out the leftover body parts and pull the engine, tranny, blah blah blah. Then convert the crx to rwd and bam - RWD RHD CRX!

In 4+ years of living in Fargo I don't think there have been more than 5 instances where I couldn't temporarily move left a lane to make it easier for someone to merge.

People here suck at merging; why make it more difficult for them ? The roads work better for everyone if you facilitate for the shortcomings of other drivers. If this doesn't slow you down, why not do it ?

When I'm merging, if people don't temporarily get out of the right lane when the middle/left is available, I just assume that they're inattentive or inconsiderate. I then feel no qualms about blowing past them on the right during the merge process with superior acceleration.

I usually move to the left lane when i think i might block someone that is getting on to the interstate, from getting into the right lane. you can usually tell if your gonna be in someones way. they didnt do that for me.

If people were in a hurry I'd slot in behind them as they'd be going faster than me. I rarely exceed posted limit + 10 on the highway, yet i'm rarely passed by anybody. Nobody seems to be in a hurry.. just asleep at the wheel.

I usually move over a lane as well, however if I can't (lane blocked OR I know I'm going to be getting off at the next exit) or if I merely didn't move over and someone honks at me because they don't know how to merge, I WILL slow down/wave/smile/whatever. Am I a dick? Yes, everyone knows this.
