It's my opinion and my car and if you don't like it sit on your fist. A v6 single turbo is a waste of time I don't care what power your making. I would much rather have an RB or a VG with twins. Z31 is inline six btw OMG UR so ignorant. What kind of Z31 have you been looking at. I would love a I6 Z31 cause they did make them like that...... In Japan. The Z31 came with a 3.0L V-6 in the US.
Explain why a single turbo v-6 is a waste of time? So you are saying a Grand National is a waste of time also?
If I were to mod a Z32. It would get a Twin Setup with two GT2871R. The reason, they are bolt in can put it to 500whp and I can get them for cheap. If started with a NA car I would do single turbo and a custom intake mani so you only needed 1 cold pipe. It would probably be cheaper as well.

Switch out those pea shooter singles for a freesh set of twins....
D00d!!! who's ignorant?!?!

Keep your singles for your dynoqueens and drag cars. I'd rather have a car with power that hits right away when I need it.

I also like how you guys bring up your friends cars like I care. I know a massive single will obviously shit out a lot of power. But IMO V6 single = teh ghey. Have fun with yours. I'll run a twin VG or a single or sequential RB any day

RBs dont have sequiential. My 240 spools just fine. I actually wish it was a bit later. And its not a "drag" car.
You can't make one sequential? hmm Noone said anything about your 240 or this guys evo.

hahaha theres nothing to argue about realy. You'll never change my opinion or what I want.
IMO single plus V6 = not for me... / thread buy a TTZ

OH man, LOVED that one post about the I6 Z31, made my day
I have a 248 page book on turbocharger design; i should lend it to you so you can learn a thing or two on the subject.
A single charger "IS" more effecient than twins.........
BTW..... Good luck on making a sequential set for your RB or VG considering mazda had a hard time controlling theirs OEM with actual R&D
Ill bet you dont even understand the difference between sequential, compound, and parallel systems.............
PS.... go for a ride in Faber's or Kevin's car and I assure you that it is anything but laggy..................

K I'm gonna clear this up for you. You're assuming I said you can make more power with a twin setup than a single. I never said that. I'm not like ooh I'm a bad ass I have two turbos. Simply said IT IS MY OPINION that a single setup on a v6 car that has a relatively simple and cheap twin setup is a waste of time. I would rather spend my time adding to my TT setup than doing a bunch of custom fab to put one turbo on. I never said I was goin to put a sequential on my VG did I? I don't need your little book on turbos. You don't know me and you have no idea what I know other than I've never cared to look under the hood of a Z31. I realy don't care about them or have any ambition to learn about them.

I don't know what your trying to do here. Teach me something I already know or change my mind and get me to convert my car to single? I know a big single will give you lots of power woopy. I don't want one.
IN
MY
OPINION
TT V6
OWNS
SINGLE V6
I'm not saying it's faster straight line either, change my opinion on this subject and I'll sign my title over to you. Nothing more for you to say ok? done. shuddap
I guess I'm sorry if i'm over opinionated that's just the way I am.

There are many factory applications of parallel twin turbos on V engines.
The I6 can be found making excellent power with NA, single turbo, sequential twin, and parallel twin turbo configurations, all from the factory.
There are reasons to prefer twin turbos to a large single, even in the face of the extra weight, complexity, and cost of a multi-turbine setup. The fact that so many cars come with twin turbos, inspite of the tremendous increase in cost (design, manufacturing, testing, service, etc) should give anyone plenty of evidence that there is merit to the twin-turbo approach.
