Jason's Letter to the Editor
-
Thanks guys, and yes, of course the one time I write to the editor, I don't use grammer check...IDDDIIOOOTTT! Well from making videos, to letters to the editor, I have come in contact with a few pretty important RP people for ND. This morning I was let in on a little secret....
RON PAUL WILL BE IN FARGO FEBRUARY 4TH AROUND 11AM. Place won't be announced until closer to the day. Keep the 4th around 11am open!
-
I will DEFINITELY be there. Thanks for leading the drive on this Jason. I never thought I'd say this about you but....I'm proud of you for taking charge and getting involved. We need more people who are willing to run with things like this to step up. We all seem to call for change in this country, yet we keep electing the same group of idiots who constantly provide lip service to get the votes. Ron Paul is the one candidate that has been consistent in his message AND his delivery. Even if I don't agree w/ 100% of everything he says, he is the only one I believe who has the ability to cause change and lead by example.

I have Ron Paul lawn signs available at the shop. I have 15, so if you would like one or two to put out in front of your home/apartment/box, stop by the shop!

"Mark Larsen of 1040 AM WWBA interviewed Mitt Romney on the morning of 1/29/2008. The sneers and chuckles from slippery Romney pushed him over the edge and drove him to support the only real candidate -- Ron Paul."

I won't be voting for Ron Paul, but I can respect alot of his ideas...

I think it's pretty much safe to say that if Hilary is elected, nobody wins. But that wasn't the point of this. The point is to get people motivated to get involved in the primaries. To get involved in the process. To get out and support the candidate that YOU think will be the best, regardless of if it is a win/lose situation. If you support a candidates ideas, but don't get out and actively support the candidate, you really can't complain when they don't win.
The media is doing a great job of NOT covering Ron Paul, despite the following....can you tell me....
*Why do active military personnel donate more money to Ron Paul than to any other GOP canditiate?
*Why are non-Americans around the world rallying for an American presidential candidate?
*How is a man the media ignores able to break fundraising records, raising millions on the internet?
*Why are hot chicks taking off their clothes to support a 72 year old politician?
Yet he gets skipped over even being mentioned by most of the networks....despite the fact that he has done fairly well in several of the primaries.
But maybe you are right DelSlow. Maybe we should all not vote, not get involved and not have any influence over the directions that our political leaders are taking us....seems like we (the young people of this country) have done this long enough already, and everything is going super smooth now...right?

I think it's cool that you guys are getting out and being active in the process. But at some point you have to be realistic and decide who you are going to vote for that is on the ticket.

Paul has more than one option in this thing. He can continue to try and run as a Republican or, he can break away and run as a Libertarian, OR he can run as both. If he runs as a Libertarian (who he is endorsed by) he can automatically be registered in every state (I forget the wording, but because they are an established party they have the ability to put people on the ballots w/o the need to petition).
If he doesn't get on the ballot, then I'm going to have to get behind someone else. Right now, that person is likely to be Obama as he is the only candidate with a shot of winning that I don't hate.

I'm not that far off from where Obama stands on many things either. But at this moment I'm still behind RP.
