I got the red ring of light a little while ago, and i checked the xbox site to see if it was still under warrenty to get fixed. Its not, so anyone have any experence with sending it in and having the company fix it or anything? What should i do? Or any good places around here to get it done?

check the manufacturing date, M$ issued a 3 year warranty on all 360s

call xbox support and have them send you a box to send it in, mine took 3 weeks

ya it says the expiration date was 12-21-07 at 7 pm

feh, call them, they'll warranty it. if they start giving you any beef, complain politely, ask to speak to a manager, etc.

Yeah I called in and went through the little troubleshoot thing, reminded him how they extended the warranty and got mine sent in replaced and an extra month free of live. maybe took 4 weeks from when I called.

My warranty expired in November. It RLoD'd me about 3 weeks ago and I just got it back last week, replaced, free of charge.
