aren't you guys hopefull? i've seen Q1 05 (first quarter of 05) as the speculated release date... and it's been that way for about a month. if it's getting pushed back this far, maybe there will be online play this time around? however, i'm not getting my hopes up yet. i was excited that it would be out by christmas, which i declared would be the release once it was pushed back from april 04. now that it's been pushed back so much... i can keep waiting

I have read in a couple game magazines its due for january 21st release. Im not to hyped up on it anymore... its a great game but it will be just like every other one. I wanted the added bonus of online play which we wont get because they fucked up and cant impliment it in enough time to release it until late 05 so we get the shaft.

Just got an xbox, so I'll be busy beating Halo2 and Rally Sport Challenge 2...

Although I am anxious for Forza Motorsports on Xbox (release date for March IIRC). If it turns out a good realistic driving sim like GT3, I'll be all over it (gotta be better than this RSC2 I'm playing now...)

i suppose i'd better get the wiring at home configured so we can make perfect videos once gt4 comes out. i'm sick of the crappy video camera taping a tv clips that are floating around on the net.

Well I'm getting a PS2 (again) and I'm going to play though GT3.

BTW Software Ext. Has a GT4 steering wheel that is fucking awsome! I took it out of the box to look at it, rubber grip and MOMO style wheel.

On the bad side $149.95....yeah.

i've seen that, i plan to buy it once the game is out. i was going to buy it for gt3, but since the steering is only going to be realistic for gt4, it seems like a waste; not only that, but i'm hoping the price goes down too.

More bad news about GT4 it has yet again been bumped back in date for release which is now set at Feb. 24.

It had better be worth it which I know it will.

EDIT: Forza Motorsports has also been set for 4/30/2005.
