It's $899 right now. Screen size is limited only by your room, and it looks great. You will not touch the screen size and clarity of this device for this price point.
Tons of in-depth discussion on avsforum as well.
I don't see the appeal of a used device for $700 when you can get this for $900 (and maybe cheaper if you find a deal.. slickdeals had an infocus 720p setup this week)

and Thrash, i've looked at a few projectors including that one...i'll keep it in mind...the room it's in would only be able to have the projector around 8 feet away from the wall. plus screens are spendy too as I'd like to get a fixed one.

yeah i have the older one...which is supposed to be better than the newer one..
Last i looked at best buy...they didnt even have the TV..and mine still has warranty. so i'll pass on the $700 haha

This is a little over your price range, but I can get this http://www.crosley.com/products/SpecPage.do?id=403 to you for $850. Basically, it is an LG monitor/internals w/ the exterior molding made by Daewoo. It comes with a 2 year warranty out of the box.
OR I can get you this http://www.conns.com/dp42746.html Sanyo for $775 w/ 90 day warranty...or this one http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5652236 for $700 (both Sanyo units are factory refurbished and come with a 90 day warranty)

the one for $775 doesnt look too bad, but can the warranty get any better than 90 days?
