All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show, Rogers, MN

I signed up... If I have to tape over all the Chrysler and Dodge badging with masking tape and draw little red diamonds over it will... just let me know so I can stop at a gas station on the way.

LOL.. Of course a Dodge Stealth is a Mitsu. Here is a quote from the Mitsu Cookout page:
owners of 3000GT, Stealth, Eclipse, Talon, Laser, Galant, EVO, Lancer, Starion, Conquest, Mirage, Diamante, Colt, Cordia, Avenger, Sebring coupe, and Stratus coupe. If the car is made my Mitsubishi, its welcome to be in the show. If your a non-Mitsu owner, you can definatly hang out and spectate. There is a spectator parking lot. We always have other enthusiast check out the show. We had numerous Subarus there last year. Heck, there was even a Viper that stopped by.
Its super easy for you Fargo guys to get here. Once you are on I-94, you only have make a total of four turns and your in the show.

Hey guys,
I updated the attendee list a few days ago:
http://www.mn3s.org/attendees2004.htmlWe've got 54 Mitsus signed up to come. (As of today) This is well ahead of last year's sign ups at this point in the game. We're gonna smash the old record of 100 cars.
There are two people signed up from the Fargo/Moorhead area so far. You guys could even caravan down here. That would make the day that much more fun.

The only problem for us is, we're already taking quite a while to go to the DSM Shootout, and this would be immediatley after it.I understand. Its a lot of driving to do the shootout and the All Mitsu Cookout. Of course not all DSM and Mitsu owners are going to the Shootout. I wish there could be more space between the events, but its just the way it worked out this year.

Hey everyone,
I've finalized the categories for the All Mitsu Cookout. Here they are:
Best 90-94 DSM
Best 95-99 DSM
Best 00+ Eclipse/Stratus coupe
Best 91-93 3/S
Best 94-99 3/S
Best Evo *
Best Classic Mitsu (89 and older)
Best Other Mitsu *
The "Gene Helms" Cleanest Car Overall- The Evo and Other category may be lumped together. So far there are not enough EVOs for there own category.
We will have trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for all categories except Cleanest Car. That is only a 1st place trophy. All voting is done by the participants. So far we have 64 people signed up and we still have a month to go!!

Ahh come on just let EVO's have their own then i got good chance of winning
Well, if you get 3 or 4 more of them to sign up in the next week, then the EVOs will have there own category. I'm guessing we'll have a few more show up the day of the show, but I can't count on that when I make the trophies, so I need them signed up now.
Last year the "EVOs and others" were only 6 or 7 cars, so with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies, you still have a fighting chance at some hardware.

just give the evo owners all trophies, atleast they'll be happy with somethin. i mean, shit. if i had to drive an EVO, id want a trophy to for self esteem reasons.
-
whats that got to do with anything? go hug your trophy your about to get.

Hey everyone,
I always keep forgeting to talk about the prizes for the All Mitsu Cookout. Brookdale Mitsubishi is providing a ton of prizes again this year. They are really stepping up to the plate to make sure The Cookout is a huge success. I know for sure we have a set of 2G DSM floor mats to give away and several sets of binoculars to give away, plus a bunch of things I don't even know about.
Jack, at Mitsubishi Specialties will be at the Cookout too. He sells some nice Vacumn hose reduction kits for the 3/S. He'll be selling those, plus have some vouchers to give away for free kits.
QPR will be donating some prizes too. They have some hose kits from Hose Techniques and might have some other goodies to give away too. Stay tuned.
I've also finalized the price of the Cookout. It will again be $5. You can pay the day of the show, but it would make my life easier if you paid in advance. You can send me a Paypal to [email protected] Make sure to include your full name. By pre-paying, it makes the registration process the day of the show go a lot quicker.
We are only about three weeks away now!!

Hey guys,
Looks like only Joe and Mitch are signed up from the Fargo/Moorhead area. Any others coming?? We are under three weeks away from the largest Mitsu gathering within 500 miles of Minneapolis. I've had a lot of sign ups in the last day or so. We are up to 75 sign ups. I'm guessing we'll have around 110 to 120 cars the day of the show. Its an awesome site to see.
Hope you can make it,
