HIN Chicago

570 miles. From fargo to the adress anthony posted. Google maps says 10hour 9 min. Which would be averaging around 60mph. Also, speeding in Wisc. FTL!
I would think about leaving early so we do not hit rush hour in chicago. A convoy of trucks and trailers would be a PITA to get around down there in rush hour.

Wisconsin speeding tickets start at $189 dollars.....

^ya. cash on the spot or you go to the court house. At least thats what I remember. The cop didn't mention that last time i was pulled over, but it may be. He just told me to slow down cuz tickets start at $189 or something.

I was thinking. We should have a little get together somewhere with the people that want to go so we can get shit planned out. Leaving dates, hotels, cars/trucks/trailers, who is showing.....This sounds like a good idea. Once we know of more people who are interested in goin, we should meet up.

if you're going to be in chicago, you really should go to gino's east for pizza. i don't know what the limitations of my best western discount are, but i could do some asking to see if i can get a discount on multiple rooms there. someone should pm me with some specifics so i can make a couple of calls.
EDIT: i should mention that i'm not planning to be there, but i'll do what i can to aid the effort

we went the last 3 yrs to HIN Chicago.
first and third yr we stayed at hyatt mccormick place. so nice, but alot of cash for a room. might not be able to get one this late in the game though. 2nd yr we stayed travelodge downtown. much cheaper but aways from mccormick place, but in the middle of downtown..compromise i guess.
definitely a good time had. first yr left fargo friday then left on sunday to come back. next 2 yrs left thurs and sunday. much easier on a body.
took us 11.5-12 hrs each way. left fargo at 7am. did not have too much problems with traffic.
be sure on directions though. as we had issues this past year. we ended up going through some poor streets to get there.we are going to NOPI STL this year.
