This thread makes me ashamed to be a BMW owner.
There is no production BMW that is a worthwhile car in a straight line. There's always something faster that costs less if you want to drag race. Drag racing or street racing in a BMW is stupid. That's not what BMW is about.
If you're going to drive a BMW, it's fine to drive it like it was meant to be driven, but do so safely.

Chances are, I'll be instructing at either event, and we can have a good time without getting arrested or endangering anyone. You'll learn way more about your car and yourself than you ever will by acting like a doofus around town in Fargo.
