kanye is over self-hyped bullshit, i've listened to kanye and i've heard nothing to back up all the shit he talks. all i heard was mediocre, over produced, consumer rap. nothing different than any of the other top 40 type corporate shit out there. I just don't see where he is the best artist out there. im mostly into metal, hardcore, stuff like that but I do listen to hip hop (not rap, big difference). some GOOD artists are, just looking at my library, Abzorbr, Big Jess, Brother Ali, Kanser, Slug, Eyedea, The Crest, Greyskull, MF Doom, ahh the list goes on. I'll be at As I Lay Dying for sure, I love their older stuff. I would like to see some shit like Black Dahlia Murder, Kill Whitney Dead, Mastodon, Heaven Shall Burn, some more brutal stuff like that in town. AILD should be a pretty epic show tho.
