There is a reason why NA civics do not need a 3 inch exhaust, other then they are stupid loud, and sound like ass.

I beg to differ on some stuff. On a diesel, a good none restrictive exhuast lowers EGT, instead of increasing like stated in that link.

      PM me for:
      Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
      Diesel repairs or performance products.

That would be correct because it is a diesel and it has forced induction. The article was talking about N/A gas motors.

From some of the stuff i've read other places, the best was the higher the exhaust velocity...meaning what gets the exhaust out of the end of the pipe quickest. Which can kinda explain least amount of bends possible, the least restriction possible, and the proper sizing, not too big or too small of piping...

holy faber.............lol, your just thinking of the oldschool NA 6.2's right?? 🙂

on any turbo setup the least amount of post turbine pressure is ideal...............Drive pressure gets deep 🙂 but you want that as low as possible while still supporting the characeristcs you want of the sysem
