Ready for engine paint
-
Holy shit, how about an update! Motor is all painted and ready to go back in. Thanks to Jason for the work, it looks fabulous and i am very happy with it.
Also the frame is all cleaned up, and the A/C box is in. All the wiring and dashboard is in.
For the firewall i welded up a couple holes and then coated it 3/8" with a product called "Firewall" from second skin audio, which is a liquid, ceramic based sound and heat barrier. On top of this i applied some closed cell foam from same and also put foam on the heater box, all ducting and the inside of the dashboard. Dash is all installed, along with controls and stereo in and working, minus the sub.
Waiting on the steering, which i plan on ordering end of next week, then the motor goes in and some re-doing of the wiring from computer into cab. Flange for turbo, add wastegate, and make downpipe and it will be driveable again.
And there will also be a security system, and i have 2 absolutely hidden kill switches wired in, along with a GPS tracking device that is impossible to find, so if anybody is planning on fucking with it like they did to zacs car, fuck off.

Today i got the motor set in the chassis again. Man does it look sweet, I also put the manifolds on to check out clearances for the downpipe and placement of O2 bungs. Hopefully the 9" will get here tomorrow, and i plan on getting the harness all wired in this week.
