rotation & color change

2 questions...
How can you rotate something so its at a different angle? Not like flip the other way or flip upside down and stuff...I get that, but rotate.
how can you just take something with different shades of one color and change it to shades of another color?

Shift,Ctrl,Alt are all controll keys. You can use one of the controll keys with most tools if you want to use them to there fullest.
To rotate use and warp angles:
*Edit
*TransformThen press and hold controll on one of the 4 axis points, that is how you warp angles. Now for rotating you use the transform function again then go to the out side of your box and click then pull in the direction you want.
Color changing is very hard and I'm still not good at it. I havent had a class in college yet for color changing.
I use either the color changing option or I use the color changing tool ( CS ONLY ) and then *Burn or *Doge to the disired color.
