      Its a comp XR265
      212/[email protected]
      .525 lift
      114 LSA
Not very big, but should be pretty much perfect on a 4.8, and more so as a turbo cam.

Got some accomplished today. Cut 1.7" out of the oil pan and welded back together, installed the cam, and Jason got the black sprayed on the motor and trans.

i dont think this trans will have alot of problems holding. sure it will need it eventually, but with zacs 2600lbs, and 4.11 gears, there shouldnt be much stress on it. maybe this winter it will get a mild stall and a shift kit, new clutches, but thats pretty much it.
As a matter of fact, BMR Fabrication took a bone stock 4l60 in a 04 GTO down to a 10.2@130 before it started slipping, in a car with a 3900lb raceweight. So 10.0s in a 2600lb car should be a cake walk

I see. Good luck with that. It is kind of hit or miss, some people do well, but most end up needing a rebuild sooner than they would like.

                    Also, isn't it technically a 4L65E?

getting a different rad and putting it way up front.....

so we will have like 1 foot between the engine and rad to stick something
