pretty sure clipping the wings is just trimming the feathers, like with other pet birds. in that case you shouldn't need a vet. this thread makes me sad.. because i can't have pets where i'm at. lame.

we used to have a duck, it was one of the coolest pets ever!!!

As far as clipping the wings, you may not need to. Our duck and the 2 that megan had previously weren't able to fly because they were never shown how.

So... I was out bowfishing yesterday and found a new friend, lol. I brought home a baby goose, his leg is kinda messed up and i felt sorry for him... I'll post up some pics later...

well my duck is retired now, living comfortably on a farm in fergus. he got to big for his briches and i had to retire him before he injured him self in the ring. last time i talked to his people he said he really missed the stone circle but hes ready to be done with the death match game and start really living his life.
