I know....Im actually thinking it might be easier to just buy a CF hatch and new glass....although, the window is fine...I just need the time...or money.

taking it off just takes time. not that much really quit being lazy and just pull it off. Nice work on the nightshades that stuff works pretty good doesnt it.

A CF hatch would not really be worth the money. You also need to use a lexan or plastic window when using a CF hatch, as glass is to heavy. For some glass works, for others....... not so much.

Go to the junkyard, find a hatch off of another z31 with no tint. Remove and purchase the hatch w/ glass. Then bring it to the glass shop and have the glass swapped out.

                        Sandblasting(I use glass beads)

Remove the tint with a heat gun. Then use steel wool and some glass cleaner or alcohol to remove the glue.

You WILL ruin your defrost lines. No way around it.

Either do the junk yard glass trick, or start scraping away. What works good for the door windows, is to remove them from the car and use paint and decal remover.
