You see, Ford has been looking to copy Toyota for many years (as has GM and Chrysler)...it seems very likely that the only thing they got right was the parts that got recalled...I'm sure the logic went like this:

Ford Inspector: "Gee, these parts look just like the parts that we use...let's see if we can reuse the design but find a way to make them cheaper....maybe China can help manufacture them....them Chinese people sure make things for a lot less than our people can"

all manufactors copy each other...when I graduated from Ford ASSET we went to Derborn and was able to tour Ford's testing plant and they had a clean room that they were taking a Toyota and a Chevy a part piece by piece to compare them

I'm not a Toyota hater I just don't like the truck, its ugly, and I do not feel that their product is that much better than what is made here. For the record I also don't like the way the new Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Nissan, and especially Honda, trucks look either. IMO the Ford is by far the best looking one and its still nothing special.

Product...maybe not, service...DEFINITELY BETTER than the Big 3...thereby making the product better in my eyes.

I am not a Toyota hater...I just don't worship them like a few people on here. I like the looks of the GMC pickup the best. I don't like the look of the Tundra, but that wouldn't keep me from considering it if I was in the market for a new truck.

I'm not a Toyota worshiper either. They make mistakes like everyone else. I've owned at least one new vehicle from each major manufacturers (Toyota, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Nissan, Subaru) except for Honda. As far as customer service goes with them, the order that MY experiences have been is the following:

Toyota>Nissan>/=Subaru>Chevy>Ford>Dodge
