So anyone voting for the yes no yes?

Sweet, no more smelly clothes, dry eyes, and coughing after a night out. I don't really care if anyone is pissed either:woot:

I agree with ONE exception. I feel for JT Cigaro's... Those that don't smoke, typically don't frequent the place, but I know a lot of people that really enjoyed that place. I don't see how on earth they can survive now. At least Moorhead bars are playing on an even field, which should STIMULATE that economy.

July 1st it takes effect.

I thought JT Cigarro's was the only place exempt from the law...

Via In-Forum.com:

"Measure 3 would have made exceptions for enclosed bars that prohibit patrons under the age of 21, designated areas of truck stops and J.T. Cigarro Tobacco Bar.

About 43 percent of voters supported the measure. It had 6,698 votes in complete but unofficial results."

JT lost 57% to 43%

I feel for JT Cigarro as well. If there was an appeal to allow them to continue as a "Tobacco Bar" I'd be in support of them being able to remain a smoke-allowed environment.

Now I can walk into JT Cigarro to buy my cigars and not have to walk through cigarette smoke! lol

Actually, CMK is fairly intelligent and well versed in the subject he debates. He does, however, have the ability to make others look like idiots, seemingly at will.

You're too hard on yourself. You haven't seemed too idiotic...yet.

Fuck you guys. I'm going out July 1st to celebrate.

Also glad the tax increase didn't pass.

I don't know how many times I heard some form of "nobody goes to a bar to get healthy" today.

it was a lot, though.
