            Oh snap.....

we don't count engine dynos, has to be chassis, so your car is out faber.

well as of now the evo is current at VIPgarage getting a complete service and tune up. they are going to readjust the clutch and they are going to pay a little attention to my diff and x case.

theres a dyno day at DTM on the 12th. i might entertain the idea of seeing what my car puts down stock before i start changing things up.

well at little update for ya, i picked up the car today and its ALREADY throwing codes. i keep getting randon cylinder misfire codes.

so initial diagnosis, ignition modules are screwed. but im not sure yet. it could be from the new plugs which is probably it.

                              NEXT

the previous owner did in fact put a new clutch in it, BUT it was never adjusted or bled out correctly. so my clutch is toast.

                              NEXT

the 3rd and 5th gear snycros are screwed as well. so the tranny needs to be rebuilt.

SO...in the end i was quoted 2500 for the tranny rebuild and clutch install (parts and labor) and if i wanted to i could get an lsd for the transfer case, with no additional labor cost.

so freitag what should i do, get it fixed...or sell it. either way im takin a loss.

fix it man. you like the car and youve already spent the money. throw some cash at it and make it worth while instead of being one of those "failed" projects everyone is so common to running into

yea that true. and thats really all thats wrong with it.

i think im gunna end up getting it fixed, and going from there.

at least that way i will have the satisfaction that it will be able to handle almost anything i throw at it.

but on another note im pricing out turbo kits.

im looking to get atleast 500awhp on stock bottom end. 🙂

seriosouly, i was just wondering but holy shit get your panties in a bunch.

I was WONDERING beacuse it just sounded as if you were making payments on it, and i have no idea how that stuff works if your making payment/leasing it with a dealership or whatever. But holy shit never mind.

well to answer you question yes. i am making payments on it. but the way its set up is i have 25% of my check, which is more than enough already, go directly into a seperate checkin account account. and that account gets the payments taken out of it on due dates. the glory of it all is i got a ridiculously low intrest rate+having both accounts from the same organization=great way to build credit, and if something goes wrong its the banks fault. not mine.

so in the end i never get to see the money in the first place, its outta sight and outta mind. and secondly i wont miss a payment or be short. it all works out...and yes i responded to your question in an uneasy way.
