It would have been great if he had pointed that gun at someone with a conceal/carry permit. Too bad they didn't find the gun in the car with him, judges don't take kindly to loaded and/or concealed weapons in cars. The stupidity of some people just never ceases to amaze!

CCW is not a joke nor something to be taken lightly.
There is a class that is usually held monthly at Sportsmans Warehouse. You pay $30 to take the ND test and once that is completed you turn the paperwork over to the cass county sheriff. They will run a background check on you, forward the paperwork over to the fargo pd who will also run a background check on you, and then send it back to you.
You then mail the completed paperwork, $25, and 2 passport photos to the BCI in Bismarck. They will then do another federal background check and if you pass and meet all criteria they will issue a permit.
The permit is valid for 3 years, must be renewed before it expires, and does not mean you can carry everywhere either.
