Sorry if I disappointed anyone today besides myself. Anyways I guess I need to fire myself from rebuilding trannys. I pushed through the transbrake on every pass except for one and that was on wastegate springs, 10 psi with creep to 17-18. Anyways the last two passes when I hot lapped (sorry all) I tried adding 6 pounds to it. I actually ran slower, so wtf.
I took the car to the shop dropped it off and headed home. On the way home I was thinking what the hell is going on. I then remembered a few weeks ago I had some wire loom touching the cold side of the turbo. At the time it was just melted a little bit, never thought anything of it. I headed back over there tonight and took a look. It had actually melted the insulation off the 12 volt feeds to my boost controller solenoids. I have two, one to add pressure and one to dump pressure. They were both being energized at the same time, so no boost control at all, just a small boost leak. T&T next w/end it should work:icon_rabbit:

So the boost issues at the line are what hurt the tranny or you think something just didn't go together right

I had the same issues with the brake before I tore it down. I must have missed something, at least I have second gear now. I replaced all clutches and seals among some hard parts. Boost issues were a completely separate issue. The boost deal is that the boost controller was not doing anything except leaking. I was running wastegate pressure only and the boost creep, 10 springs creeping to 18 on the shift and drops to 10 again. When Andy (Dynotune) and I were doing all the pulls last year (we guessed over 100 on this motor) we never did a pull under 20 psi so the creep was never an issue.

I think the best was 10.16 @ 133, I had a 10.71 @ 138, et was screwed as I stopped after I pushed through the brake, I let off a little and it held again.
