Not bad at all Gary....although when I read the title I thought it said "Gary has a new sex toy" and started laughing out loud at work...sorry to hijack, but I had to share that.

Yeah i was hoping i would get a reaction like that, it took me awhile to think of a good title. And there is no way i could have gotten the GN to this level for less than another $8-10k, so fuck that. Put it this way, i paid $2k more for this than i got for the GN, in that contest it was a steal. 100k less miles, good paint/body, rims, 200whp more and a forged motor that will go to 1000hp no problem. Sure its a manual but with a $1k clutch that should last for a couple years and a rearend that is pretty much unbreakable. A set of ported heads would get this thing up to the 900whp mark pretty easily.

I happen to like the early 4th gen nose, the LSx cars have way too much shit going on up there with the 20 different vents and 6 lights and hoodscoops. This is much more simple. I dont really care for the big hole he cut in there, but its too late to bitch because its not fixable.
BTW jason if you put some gas in it you can drive it, long as i come out ahead on the gas.

Also today i was tightening the blower belt a bit more and i noticed that one of the injectors was unplugged, wtf. It runs fucking awesome now, i honestly couldnt really tell i just thought the cam was that big. That explains the shitty gas milage too. Also in chicago i raced a 05+ mustang GT without the blower belt on it even, so its just a big ass restriction. put 1-2 cars on it in 3rd gear and he got me by 3 cars in 3-4 spraying 125shot. He also had intake/exhaust and a tune.
I have to say its probably about 380-400whp in that configuration and no doubt picked up a solid 2-300whp with the blower on it. I took it up to about 8psi today, 4k rpm and it was fucking hauling ass.
BTW ill be in brainerd friday evening

sad to see the GN go, but understand all the same.

that is definitely one sharp ride ya got there.

sure hope i get a chance to see it in person.
