It was an awesome game! I didn't expect Mertens to be THAT good. he was 16 for 18 iirc, which was awesome considering they were stacking against the run for most of the game. How about that Bison Defense? The only time APSU moved the ball was when #3 was returning a punt or kickoff! Oh, and Heckendorf is the man.

I'll be tailgating again next Saturday as soon as the door open. Whoever's going to the CCSU game, come find me and have a beer! Who's in?

You don't have to be 21 to tailgate. There are even little kids there and it's not like you have to have a wristband or anything. You just walk in and pretty much do whatever you want.

I didnt get carded once, and I dont look 21 by most standards...just don't carry around a bottle or can and drink out of a mug or cup, and youre good.

I'll be there with ya on Saturday, jason...yesterday was the shit..I'm amazed how awesome the tailgating scene is with all of the sweet buses/vans/motorhomes painted in NDSU Bison logos/colors whatever.

Next week should be another blow out/sweet game

You have to use a mug or cup, didn't you notice how no one had a bottle or can out for longer than it took to fill their mug? They tried 21+ once didn't work out so well.

So I read in the paper that they are allowing 4000 students in to games this year, and that's exactly how many students were let in to each game last year. 4000 tickets are still given for free, the only difference is that demand is high and to get in, students don't have to show up at the door way before the game as they can now just show a ticket. I remember back in the day for Sue games, if you didn't show up at the door 5-6 hours before kickoff, you weren't getting in. Now that football is so huge again and EVERY game means something big, some students won't be able to get in. That's the way it's always been at NDSU when football is the hot commodity.

SON OF A BITCH! I just realized today that NDSU homecoming is the same day as the last street legal at the track. Football or racing, racing or football. I already have my football tickets so I guess my decision is made. Sucks though.
