Would you care to explain how the hell a V9 engine would work? That was an amusing typo.

        not always true...

There are 2 V6 options as well...

        SXT- 250-horsepower 3.5-liter high-output 24-valve V6 engine

You can have an odd number of cylinders in a "V" configuration. Honda does it with their RC211V bike that is raced in MotoGP(basically F1 racing for bikes). It is a "V5", and works extremely well.

Anyway, back to the dyno stuff. I don't know if any of you have talked to Andy about dynoing Sunday. I know Schell's Mustang will be on at around 11:00 or so. Please call Andy (605-520-1612) or myself (367-4555) if you want to schedule some time on Sunday. There's no reason for Andy to stick around if he doesn't have any appointments. Thanks.

8 cylinders on the V and then 1 in the center = 9

Since I said I would, here's my chart:
                          legacy image

Better than I expected. Car is pretty much stock but has a K&N custom CAI and lighter wheels (15" konig heliums). Nice to know where the project is starting. Plenty more mods to help that high end to come...

could have something to do with the completely stock motor or maybe its just the nickle sized valves the stock heads have, but i think we could have got a little bit better numbers with the a/f the way it was but with how bad the boost spikes where with the cold temps im gonna leave it the way it is for the winter and park it. and we'll see what happends when the snow melts

.:NOTE TO SELF:. im gonna need slicks, bad.....
