she started pulling out a few seconds after the light had turned green (based on traffic flow...didn't see the light)...I witnessed that because that is the road I take home and I always check to see if it is quicker to go to the light or just wait out traffic....anyway...he canned it around Gate City (maybe a hair before) I know I'm going to use the wrong term here, but he basically pulled the wheel up while accelerating hard (if you've ever seen a bike launch at the track, that was what his bike looked like upon acceleration). Up until then, he was going about 35 mph...I feel he more than doubled that speed in the distance between gate city and holiday...then he found out just how fast he can go from 70 to zero. I'll go on record saying if that were 10 minutes earlier, he may have crashed into me, because she was doing the EXACT same thing I do every time I cross that street... Look left for distance of traffic...then look right to make sure you can fit into spacing in vehicles to merge. I'm assuming she figured that anyone who driving in rush hour isn't going to be going APPROXIMATELY 70 to 80 mph....40 to 45, maybe, but she would have EASILY made it through if that were the case.I agree with you. But at the same point, they teach defensive driving for this very reason. You can still see somebody going "APPROXIMATELY 70 to 80 mph" pretty clearly. If you can't should I fear driving anywhere in the area of you on the interstate? That is 75 after all. Are you going to not see me because of my rate of speed? Shit, I could be doing 90 and I hope to god you can see me.
Better yet, Can you see Dave going down the track at 8.6 @ 159 mph or w/e he ran it at? Pretty sure you can.
Thats DOUBLE what this biker was doing and yet you can still see daves car? How come you can't see this biker?
Ok ok.. your going to use the "it was a small object" card on me.
So be it.
My answer to that is:
Can you see the rockets at the track going down the track at 130-150 mph? Pretty sure you can.
Now my question to you all is (before I get whored some more):
Why would you pull out in front of someone that you can see is going at an excessive rate of speed for the fear of your life or someone else's? -

Parker, you still have yet to provide me with a decent explanation on why seeing a 'small object' moving at 80mph is so hard to see.

Go to the track and watch the races. Then you'll realize they are VISIBLE!
Why should I stay off the road? Because I can see oncoming cars moving at an excessive rate of speed and know not to pull out in front of them? Is that why? Cmon jackass, provide me with answers.
Your failing miserably.
-
blah blah blah... when one pulls out into traffic... one looks for distance between him and the other cars..... one does not sit and stare to calculate how fast that object is moving you fucking n00b bye bye
and when you are at the track you are excpeting bikes to fly by at a billion miles an hour

gtfoAnd this quote is for?
If your doing this to show me the the biker ran a red light, then yes, I'm in the wrong on all of this. But if I remember correctly, I read absolutely NOWHERE that the biker ran a red light.
So your still a fail.

DOH!
And when one is driving, you constantly looking around at your surrounds to make sure everything is safe. Obviously she did not do that.
Cmon parker, you can do better. I still havent seen an explanation and why cannot see a object moving at 80 mph.

God you are fucking retarded...........
It is a hell of alot harder to determine the speed of something traveling directly at you... i don't care who you are
compared as to watching a bike from the side at the track

She looked left saw some traffic at about the bank that was going normal speeds (at the time she checked)....so she saw an opening and went for it....same time dude shit cans it. Mind you she still thinks traffic is 35 mph or so so she thinks her only concern is traffic heading south and she's trying to find a spot to merge.... Logic would tell me that if you are on the bike, you would look for things like this BEFORE you break several traffic laws by accelerating at stupid speeds, exhibition driving, etc...things like a BIG FUCKING SUV cutting across traffic should be painfully obvious to see. Maybe I need to worry about motorcycle drivers, they seem to not be able to see big vehicles and there is nothing I hate worse than washing brains off my window and door frame.
-
In other words...when she looked and started moving...he was going slow....he shit-canned it and did his impersonation of a grasshopper hitting a windshield after HE fucked up by not noticing the GIGANTIC suv.

not if you glance... you will not see how fast some dumbfuck on a bike is going... remember this is rush hour traffic.. you either move, or you sit and wait forever.... she glanced and saw she had space, and went... she did not expect a dipshit to be going eleventybillion miles an hour... -
Parker, if you can't tell the difference between 30-40mph and 80mph stop driving.
Chuck, I see your point. But your telling me you only look once? There is a fault right there. I personally look each direction MULTIPLE times (as I was taught in my driving course(maybe they should be making this mandatory for ALL drivers)).

drivers ed is required in ND to get your license before age 16...so she has taken it...
Maybe she did look twice...first time he was starting to come through the intersection, 2nd he was at the bank...both times not speeding. Of course I am merely speculating on what she did. I know EXACTLY what he did however....and that was a great grasshopper vs windshield @ 80mph impersonation.

I see all of your points. And im saying mine. But your ignorance is getting the best of you.
Chuck, I'm all speculation as is the rest of this thread. (As of now, I'm just continuing to waste parker's nite trying to make him think he's accomplishing something by calling me a fucking retard and to kill myself. its great).
