Muffler rapping was more popular competitions were more popular in the 80s and 90s with muscle cars. It's kinda fun to see what other cars sound like, and you know that everyone likes to show off their loud exhaust. :icon_rabbit:
It's just a fun opportunity to make a bunch of noise and possibly win a trophy if yours is the best!

well everyone im sorry to say that im offically not gonna make it to this event, i wish that i was but my wife still hasnt popped could be anyday now and i dont want to be 3 hours away if something happends. i really wish i could go, everyone else that attends have a great time.

28 vehicles were entered into this weekend's competition from tire-smoking muscle cars, modified pickup trucks, a turbo Honda, air-bagged Tahoe, restored hot rods, an EVO, and lots more. The event was a car show, exhaust competition, burnout competition, SPL competition and BBQ. We are guessing that we had around 120 people come through to watch the event, and at one point in time the highway adjacent to the burnout contest was completely covered in smoke and you could not see across the road. (whoops)

All in all it was an awesome time! The weather was perfect for a car show and everyone had a blast. Thank you to everyone that helped make this event a success, and thank you to everyone that came to participate and watch!
