Blurr 8.04 @ 168.8 mph

It was a good day at TM streetlegal today. Great weather and a good turnout. After waiting for my new/repaired converter to show up Friday, and not showing up... I finally stuck an old spare converter in the car this morning, we got finished around 11 o'clock and headed to the track. I ran a 8.37 @ 166 mph first pass out, doing a nasty wheelie and having to let off. Next pass was 8.28 @ 166 mph, launching without enough boost (but it didn't wheelie). For the 3rd pass we fired up the nitrous, launched ok and ran a 8.04 @ 168 mph. I guess this old converter isn't so bad, ha. Tried for a 7 sec pass the 4th run, but after being run hard all year it decided 42 psi and a 150 shot was all it was going to take. Sorry about oiling the track. Here is the 8.04 pass.

we were all waiting for you to dip into the 7s sucks to see the engine go out on you. guess in a way you got lucky though seeing as how it went out on the last run of the season

Dave's 8.04 leaves puts him in a tie for the 4th quickest MKIV Supra!!!!!!! (I would assume Dave's slower MPH would bump him to the 5th place slot)

Something smacked the oil pan and cracked it, so I'm guessing it was the rod. Find out for sure when I get it apart.

Good job Dave, I wish I didnt have to leave early for work, all i got to see was the 8.28 pass... good luck for next year, i know we'd all love to see some 7's
